The KTSM-5 has a solid North American spruce top, and hard-to-find Flamed Mahogany back and sides, for that full-bodied tone. The Acacia fretboard and bridge also adds depth to the sound. The Mahogany neck with 2-way truss rod is very stable and provides a comfortable playing experience. When it's time to play onstage, the Fishman Presys+ pickup/preamp system does a good job conveying this bass' sound through the amp or PA.
